Pashmina is the art of handcrafting fine Cashmere wool into luxury scarves, shawls, and wraps. Cashmere wool is found in Ladakh where a rare species of goats grow it as an undercoat. It is extremely warm, soft, and delicate. Some manufacturers use the term pashmina to describe an ultra fine cashmere fiber; others use the term to describe a blend of cashmere and silk. There are hundreds of reasons for the popularity of this art.
